1. Service Description
BuiltLocal.studio provides website creation, hosting, and management services for local businesses. We generate preview websites using publicly available business information and offer paid subscriptions for live hosting.
2. Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your site stays online but is frozen: no updates, edits, or support until you reactivate. Outside the 30-day money-back guarantee below, no refunds are provided for partial months.
3. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you're not happy with your site, email support@builtlocal.studio within 30 days of your first payment or of your site going live, whichever is later, and we'll refund everything you've paid us: the one-time launch fee and any subscription charges. You don't need to give a reason. After a refund we take the site offline, and if we registered or manage your domain, we transfer it to you at no charge. The guarantee applies once per business.
4. Content Ownership
You own the content you provide (business information, photos, text). The website templates, design, and platform infrastructure remain the property of BuiltLocal.studio.
5. Custom Domains
Your domain is included: we register and manage it on your behalf while your subscription is active. If you cancel, we transfer the domain to you at no charge.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, to distribute harmful content, or to misrepresent your business information.
7. Limitation of Liability
BuiltLocal.studio is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
